The back of the display sits about 2.5 inches off the wall when set in parallel. Notice: This mount fits most 37-55" TVs (VESA hole patterns from 200x200 mm (8x8") to 710x450mm (27.9x17.7")) ,do not work for some old size 60-75 inch TVs manufactured before 2013 year.
